Dear Nikki,

Glad to hear your weather project has gone so well. I still have a jar I will be sending you shortly.

I intended to collect the weather last August in Hungary but forgot to pack the Jar. I felt a bit guilty about leaving the Jar home so I collected weather in an empty drink bottle which I thought was a decent alternative, but my husband, Harry, thought that was pretty naff so I chucked it.

I shouldn't have been so easily disuaded! In any case I packed the JAR on a long weekend to Venice in September and collected the weather with some other bits and pieces, but then lost track of it when we returned home. (We had a lot on as my son was getting married that week.) The Jar reappeared last month but, horror of horrors, Harry openned the Jar!!
