Whilst reading about English folklore during the early stages of the project, I had come across some interesting ideas about weather capture. |
I
wanted to see if I could make an object that looked as if it could have
been a weather-collecting relic from a distant age. Previous experiments in blown glass had yielded interesting objects, but they did not convey a sense of age. They looked far too pristine. Rather than try to distress the glass, I decided to try working in porcelain instead.
