The
photocopied letter accompanying the weather-collecting kits being sent out
was addressed "to whom it may concern" and used phrases like "investigation
of weather phenomena". All very impersonal and implying some sort of
scientific justification for the project. What if... What if someone felt compelled to collect the weather, just because? No logging of each sample, no labelling of the jar. See a bit of weather you want, seal it in the nearest container to hand, store it somewhere with all the others and then wait for the next bit of weather to come along. No justification, no explanation. One man and his jars.
