Alongside the global collection of weather samples, the stack formed the bulk of my work for the Final Project on the Foundation course.

Whilst weather was being collected around the world in a pseudo-scientific manner (uniform jars; a standard procedure issued to collectors; a set routine for processing the samples once they had been returned etc) I wanted to produce a piece of sculpture that would complement, yet contrast, with this way of working.

Behold the stack: an undetermined number of jars each containing weather collected over a period of months from my back garden in Birmingham.
